Local collective investment schemes reported net inflows of R28.1 billion for the first quarter. Total inflows for the 12 months to the end of March were R70.7 billion, according to statistics released this week by the Association for Savings and Investment South Africa (Asisa). Sunette Mulder, senior policy advisor at Asisa, says assets remained above the R3 trillion mark achieved in 2021 despite the turbulent start to the year. Assets stood at R3.09 trillion, compared with R3.14 trillion at the end of last year.
