Margot Robbie is taking a social media break

MARGOT Robbie, 30, is taking a break from social media.

The Birds of Prey star took to Instagram to post a picture of herself and some friends celebrating the success of Pretty Young Woman

– produced by her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment – and revealed that she will be stepping back from her social media platforms for the time being. “Jumping off social media for the time being – check out @lucky chap entertainment if you’ re interested in what we’re up to, otherwise ciao for now! (sic)”

Margot didn’t state why she’s taking a social media break, but the star isn’t a frequent poster online and regularly takes weeks or even months to update fans on her life.

The actress also doesn’t like sharing too many details about her private life, and once said she “strives” to be like Cate Blanchett, who also keeps her life out of the spotlight.

She said in 2014: “There is not one person that I’ve looked at and thought, I want to be like them.

“But I like the choices Cate Blanchett has made. She’s not someone who’s always in the tabloids. Her personal life remains personal and that’s something I want to strive towards.” |
