CORRUPTION COMPLAINTS

THE Special Investigating Unit says Gauteng is one of the provinces with the highest number of reports of corruption. A recent report indicates that 44% of complaints of corruption originate from the province with the accounts mainly drawn from the City of Johannesburg (22.1%), followed by Tshwane (10.1%), Ekurhuleni Municipality (7.1%). KwaZulu-Natal has the second highest number of reports (13%) followed by Western Cape (10%).
